The Vaso Formigueiro 001, designed by Domingos Tótora for Gardeco, transforms repurposed cardboard into a sculptural tribute to nature’s architecture. Inspired by the termite mounds of Maria da Fé, Brazil, each vessel is hand-crafted from recycled paper pulp, sun-dried and tinted with natural pigments. With its tactile surface and rooted reference to the earth, the piece brings warmth, texture and storytelling into any contemporary interior. A sustainable design object that bridges art and craft with poetic purpose.
